Rear Sets - BMW R NineT Racer (R NineT Std / Pure) 2017-21
SATO RACING Rear Sets for 2017-21 BMW R NineT Racer* (part# BMW-R9TRARS) features a track-engineered and competition-proven design, with components precision CNC-machined out of light-weight, high strength anodized billet aluminum. Adjustable design provides 5 unique peg positions that bring your feet Up / Forward compared to the stock Racer controls. These premium racing Rear Sets have a 'street'-friendly design that includes a brake light switch. Choice of Black or Silver (natural metal) anodized finish.
We now have an updated “version 2 design“ of this model that has some minor design changes. The ‘original design’ version is shown in the ‘fit’ photos of the Silver set. The photos of the Black set are of the revised version.
Details:
The Foot Pegs are fixed-type (non-folding) and have a finely knurled pattern for optimal grip, along with a comfortable, intuitive feel. Pegs feature End Caps made of high density black Delrin.
Adjustable peg mount holes in the step plate let you select from 5 unique positions higher up and slightly forward in comparison to the stock foot peg position on the Racer. See Position Chart above for the adjustment range.
The Pedal Tips (toe pegs) are made of tough, abrasion-resistant black DELRIN, and are also adjustable.
The shifter and brake pedal incorporates miniature double stainless bearings for smooth, precise lever actuation with a solid feel, and pivot on a separate axis from the foot pegs for optimal leverage.
Components are fastened together with Stainless Steel bolts and hardware.
Includes a mechanical type rear brake light switch.
The shift linkage features a black anodized shift arm and shift rod, providing a dedicated stock shift pattern. (Reverse shift pattern is not an option for this model).
Rear Sets kit comes partly pre-assembled, and includes some basic instructions, but does not detail how to remove the stock set. (Consult a shop manual). We recommend installation be performed by a certified mechanic.
A small tube of threadlocker is included with the kit. (Factory pre-tightened parts have already had threadlocker applied during assembly.)
