Details:
The Foot Pegs are fixed-type (non-folding) and have a finely knurled pattern for optimal grip, along with a comfortable, intuitive feel. Pegs have End Caps made of protective high-density black Delrin.
Adjustable Step Plate provides 8 unique Foot Peg positions. (See Position Chart for reference.)
The Shift Pedal Tip (toe peg) is made of tough, abrasion resistant black Delrin.
The Shifter includes a Gold anodized shift rod that utilizes the stock shift arm and rod ends, and can be set up for standard (stock) shifting pattern or Reverse/GP shift pattern. We also sell an optional matching anodized billet aluminum Shift Arm (part# D-CA) that looks great with these Rear Sets, replacing the stock shift arm.
NOTE: Also compatible with DQS (Ducati quickshifter), but is stock shift pattern only (no reverse/GP shift pattern).
This ‘Type1’ Rear Sets is designed for use with the stock brake pedal, simplifying installation. We also sell a matching Gold-anodized Brake Pedal part# D-1098BPD-GD, available separately, that works great with these Rear Sets.
Choose from 3 different Heel Guard styles: The original version Heel Guards that have either ‘848’, or ‘1098’ etched into them, or the New style, which do not have any model numbers etched into them.
Rear Sets come mostly pre-assembled. Kit includes basic instructions, but does not detail how to remove the stock foot controls. (Consult a shop manual).
A small tube of threadlocker is included with the kit. (Any factory pre-tightened parts have already had threadlocker applied during assembly).
SATO RACING Rear Sets are designed for track use. We highly recommend installation be done by a certified mechanic.
