The Foot Pegs are fixed (non-folding) and have a finely knurled pattern for optimal grip, along with a comfortable, intuitive feel. Includes End Caps made of black Delrin.
Adjustable design lets you select from 6 peg positions that place your feet at near stock equivalent position, to positions higher up and further back or forward compared to stock. See Position Chart above for the adjustment range.
The Pedal Tips (toe pegs) are made of tough, abrasion-resistant black DELRIN, and are also adjustable.
The shifter and brake pedal use double miniature stainless bearings for smooth, precise actuation with a solid feel, and pivot on a separate axis from the foot pegs for optimal leverage.
This set is not compatible with the stock brake light switch, so a pressure-type brake light switch is included. Installation requires bleeding the brake line. This setup is not recommended for ABS-equipped Z1000 models. (For Z1000 ABS, get Rear Sets part# K-N1000RS instead).
The Shift Rod and hardware included in the kit is designed for use with the stock change arm, providing a stock shift pattern.
Rear Sets kit comes partly pre-assembled, and includes some basic instructions, but does not detail how to remove the stock set. (Consult a shop manual). We recommend installation be performed by a certified mechanic.
A small tube of threadlocker is included with the kit. (Any factory pre-tightened parts have already had threadlocker applied during assembly.)
