SATO RACING Rear Sets for 2022+ Kawasaki Z650RS* (part# K-Z650RSRS) features an extensively track-tested design, with components precision machined out of light-weight, high strength anodized billet aluminum. Details:
The Foot Pegs are fixed-type (non-folding) and have a finely knurled pattern for optimal grip, along with a comfortable, intuitive feel. Pegs have End Caps made of protective high-density black Delrin.
The Pedal Tips (toe pegs) are made of tough, abrasion-resistant black DELRIN, and are also adjustable. (NOTE: the sample photos of the brake side show these rear sets installed with our optional aluminum type Pedal Tip with rubber grip part# ST-001RG. This part is sold separately.)
Adjustable Step Plate lets you select from 3 unique positions. See Position Chart above for the adjustment range.
The shifter and brake pedals use double miniature stainless bearings for smooth, precise lever actuation with a solid feel. The pedals pivot on a separate axis from the foot pegs for optimal leverage.
Components are fastened together with stainless steel bolts.
Rear brake light compatible: includes hardware for attaching the OEM brake light pull switch. ABS-friendly design.
The Shift Rod and hardware included in the kit is designed for use with the OEM change arm, providing a dedicated stock shift pattern.
Rear Sets kit comes partly pre-assembled, and includes some basic instructions, but does not detail how to remove the stock controls. (Consult a shop manual). We recommend installation be performed by a certified mechanic.
A small tube of threadlocker is included with the kit. (Factory pre-tightened parts have already had threadlocker applied during assembly.)
*NOTE: This Rear Sets model will also fit 2017+ Ninja 650 and Z650. When installed on those models, it will provide a less aggressive, more forward range of peg positions compared to the positions found on our standard Ninja 650 Rear Sets.
Options include matching Tandem Brackets for the passenger pegs, a worthwhile addition if you plan to regularly carry a passenger, since the stock Z650RS passenger pegs hang a bit too low and forward in relation to our Rear Sets, which might be an interference issue.
