The Foot Pegs are fixed-type (non-folding) and have a finely knurled pattern for optimal grip, along with a comfortable, intuitive feel. Pegs have End Caps made of high-density black Delrin .
Adjustable Step Plate design lets you select from 18 unique positions. See Position Chart above for the adjustability range.
The Pedal Tips (toe pegs) are made of tough, abrasion-resistant black Delrin, and are also adjustable.
The shifter and brake pedals utilize miniature double stainless bearings for smooth, precise actuation with a solid feel, and pivot on a separate axis from the foot pegs for optimal leverage.
Components are fastened together with stainless steel bolts. Use the stock bolts to attach the Base Plates to the frame.
Rear brake light compatible: includes hardware for attaching the OEM brake light pull switch. ABS-friendly design.
The shift lever and linkage hardware included in the kit is optimized for use with the OEM quick-shifter, providing a dedicated stock shift pattern. (For Reverse / ‘GP’-style shift pattern, get Reverse Shift Rear Sets part# K-ZX1016RSR instead).
Rear Sets kit comes partly pre-assembled, and includes some basic instructions, but does not detail how to remove the stock set. (Consult a shop manual). We recommend installation be performed by a certified mechanic.
A small tube of threadlocker is included with the kit. (Factory pre-tightened parts have already had threadlocker applied during assembly.)
