Details:
The Foot Pegs are fixed-type (non-folding) and have a finely knurled pattern for optimal grip, along with a comfortable, intuitive feel. Pegs have End Caps made of high-density black Delrin .
Adjustment holes in the Step Plate lets you select from 9 unique foot peg positions that bring your feet progressively higher up and further back compared to the stock position. See Position Chart above for the adjustment range.
The Pedal Tips (toe pegs) are made of tough, abrasion-resistant black Delrin, and are also adjustable.
The shifter and brake pedals utilize miniature double stainless bearings for smooth, precise actuation with a solid feel, and pivot on a separate axis from the foot pegs for optimal leverage.
Components are fastened together with stainless steel bolts. Use the stock bolts to attach the Base Plates to the frame.
Rear brake light compatible: includes hardware for attaching the OEM brake light pull switch. ABS-friendly design. (Also fits non-ABS 2012 ZX-14R).
Includes a color-matched shift rod and a black anodized change arm.
2 rear sets versions are available: Part# K-ZX14RS provides a stock shift pattern, while part# K-ZX14RSR has a different shift pedal that provides a dedicated GP-style reverse shift pattern.
Rear Sets kit comes partly pre-assembled, and includes some basic instructions, but does not detail how to remove the stock set. (Consult a shop manual). We recommend installation be performed by a certified mechanic.
A small tube of threadlocker is included with the kit. (Factory pre-tightened parts have already had threadlocker applied during assembly.)
IMPORTANT NOTE: While our ZX-14R Rear Sets are compatible with most common aftermarket exhausts, a few high-mount full exhaust systems are not compatible due to possible interference with rear brake.
