[L] Step Plate part# D-1098SP-L is a replacement left side / shift side Step Plate for use with all SATO RACING Rear Sets models for Ducati 848 / 1098 / 1198 (except for Streetfighter), and Bimota DB6 rear sets. Fits both ‘Type 1’ and ‘Type 2’ rear sets variations. Made of high strength billet aluminum with your choice of Black, Silver or Gold anodized finish.
NOTE: Some of these Step Plates in our inventory have the etched ‘SATO RACING’ logo on them, while others are blank. Whether it has it or not depends on when they were manufactured, and if they were intended for use with the ‘Type 1’ or ‘Type 2’ model variation of the 848 / 1098 / 1198 rear sets. Type 1 rear sets generally had the etched logo on both left and right Step Plates, while the Type 2 rear sets did not always have it, since the etched logo was also on the Shift Pedal and Brake Pedal.
