Rear Sets - Suzuki GSX-R1000 2005-2006
SATO RACING Rear Sets for 2005-06 Suzuki GSX-R1000 (Part# S-GSX105RS) features a track-engineered and race-proven design, with components precision CNC-machined out of light-weight, high strength anodized billet aluminum. Modular adjustable design provides 9 unique foot peg positions so you can find the ideal position for your riding style. Choice of Black, Silver or Gold anodized finish.
Details:
Components are fastened together with stainless steel bolts and hardware.
The Foot Pegs are fixed-type (non-folding) and have a finely knurled pattern for optimal grip, along with a comfortable, intuitive feel. Pegs have End Caps made of protective high-density black Delrin.
Adjustable design lets you select from 3 mounting positions for the Base Plate, along with 3 additional positions for attaching the Step Plate to the Base Plate, for a total of 9 unique Foot Peg positions. (See Position Chart above for the adjustment range).
The Pedal Tips (toe pegs) are made of tough, abrasion-resistant black DELRIN, and are also adjustable.
The shifter and brake pedal utilize miniature double stainless bearings for smooth, precise actuation with a solid feel.
A Shift Rod and attachment hardware is included in the kit, and is designed for use with the stock change arm. You can switch from standard (stock) shift pattern to reverse/GP Shift pattern by adjusting the attachment angle of the change arm.
Rear Sets kit comes mostly pre-assembled, and includes some basic instructions, but does not detail how to remove the stock set. (Consult a shop manual). We recommend installation be performed by a certified mechanic.
A pressure-type brake light switch is included in the kit. It attaches to the stock master cylinder. (You will need to bleed the brakes after installing the switch).
A small tube of threadlocker is included with the kit. (Factory pre-tightened parts are already tightened using threadlocker.)
