Rear Sets - Suzuki Hayabusa 1999-2012
SATO RACING Rear Sets (Std version) for gen1 and early-gen2 Suzuki GSX1300R Hayabusa (non-ABS) (part# S-GSX1308RS) feature components precision CNC-machined out of light-weight, high strength anodized billet aluminum, with stainless steel bolts. Modular adjustable design lets you choose from 6 foot peg positions in a range that brings your feet progressively higher up and further back compared to stock, for enhanced control and improved handling at the limit. Provides a dedicated stock shift pattern. A brake light switch is included in the kit. Choice of Black, Silver or Gold anodized finish.
Available options for these Rear Sets include a Brake Return Spring, and we also offer a matching billet aluminum Shift Arm (part# S-CA2) that provides more options for adjustment compared to the stock shift arm.
Details:
The Foot Pegs are fixed-type (non-folding) and have a finely knurled pattern for optimal grip, along with a comfortable, intuitive feel. Pegs have End Caps made of protective high-density black Delrin.
Adjustable Step Plate design lets you select from 6 unique Foot Peg positions, ranging from near stock position, to more aggressive positions that bring your feet higher up and further back compared to stock. (See Position Chart above for the adjustment range).
The Pedal Tips (toe pegs) are made of tough, abrasion-resistant black Delrin, and are also adjustable.
The shifter and brake pedal use miniature double stainless bearings for smooth, precise lever actuation with a solid feel.
A Shift Rod and attachment hardware is included in the kit, and is designed for use with the stock change arm, providing a dedicated stock shift pattern. (For reverse/GP-style shift pattern, get Reverse Shift Rear Sets part# S-GSX1308RSR instead).
A pressure-actuated brake light switch is included in the kit. It attaches to the stock master cylinder. (You will need to bleed the brakes after installing the switch).
Rear Sets kit comes mostly pre-assembled, and includes some basic instructions, but does not detail how to remove the stock foot controls. (Consult a shop manual). We recommend installation be performed by a certified mechanic.
A small tube of threadlocker is included with the kit. (Factory pre-tightened parts are already tightened using threadlocker.)
