Rear Sets - Suzuki Hayabusa 2022-25
SATO RACING Rear Sets for 2022+ Suzuki Hayabusa (part# S-GSX1322RS / S-GSX1322RS) features a track-engineered and competition-proven design, with components precision CNC-machined out of light-weight, high strength anodized billet aluminum. 5 foot peg positions provided by this set are Up / Back compared to the stock foot peg position, for a more aggressive position ideally suited for spirited riding. These premium Rear Sets have a 'street'-friendly design: Fully compatible with the stock brake light switch and ABS. Choice of Black or Gold anodized finish.
2 versions are available: The standard Rear Sets (part# S-GSX1322RS) provide a stock shifting pattern, while the Reverse Shift Rear Sets (part# S-GSX1322RSR), have a reverse (GP-style) shift pattern.
Details:
The Foot Pegs are fixed-type (non-folding) and have a finely knurled pattern for optimal grip, along with a comfortable, intuitive feel. Pegs include End Caps made of high density black Delrin.
Adjustable design lets you select from 5 peg positions that bring your feet higher up and further back compared to the stock peg position. See Position Chart above for the adjustment range.
The Pedal Tips (toe pegs) are made of tough, abrasion-resistant black Delrin, and are also adjustable.
The shifter and brake pedal utilize miniature double stainless bearings for smooth, precise actuation with a solid feel, and pivot on a separate axis from the foot pegs for optimal leverage.
The Step Plates have a solid / single-piece design for maximum rigidity and durability.
Brake light compatible: includes hardware for attaching the OEM rear brake light pull switch. ABS-friendly design.
Shift linkage hardware is optimized for use with the OEM quickshifter. The standard Rear Sets (part# S-GSX1322RS) are designed for stock shift pattern. Reverse Shift Rear Sets (part# S-GSX1322RSR) include a billet aluminum Shift Arm with a black anodized finish, that is designed for reverse/GP-style shift pattern. IMPORTANT NOTE: The Reverse Shift version may require modifying or removing the OEM sprocket cover to avoid potential interference. There is a SATO RACING Sprocket Cover in the production pipeline that is compatible with the reverse shift version (available soon).
Includes stainless steel bolts and hardware.
Rear Sets kit comes partly pre-assembled, and includes some basic instructions, but does not detail how to remove the stock set. (Consult a shop manual). We recommend installation be performed by a certified mechanic.
A small tube of threadlocker is included with the kit. (Factory pre-tightened parts have already had threadlocker applied during assembly.)
