SATO RACING Reverse Shift Rear Sets for 2017-20* Yamaha FZ-09 / MT-09/SP / XSR900 models with the optional Yamaha genuine quick-shifter (part# Y-MT0917RS) features components precision CNC-machined from light-weight, high strength anodized billet aluminum. Modular adjustable design provides 6 peg positions Up / Back compared to the stock foot peg position, for a more aggressive position well-suited for spirited riding. These premium track-engineered Rear Sets have a 'street'-friendly design: Fully compatible with the stock brake light switch and ABS. Provides a dedicated reverse (GP-style) shifting pattern. Choice of all-Black anodized finish, or vivid Gold finish with contrasting Black-anodized Base Plates.

The Foot Pegs are fixed-type (non-folding) and have a finely knurled pattern for optimal grip, along with a comfortable, intuitive feel. Pegs have End Caps made of high density black Delrin to help protect them from damage if in contact with the pavement..
Adjustable design lets you select from 6 unique peg positions that bring your feet higher up and significantly further back compared to the stock foot pegs. See Position Chart above for adjustment range.
The Pedal Tips (toe pegs) are made of tough, abrasion-resistant black DELRIN, and are also adjustable.
The shift and brake pedals utilize miniature double stainless bearings for smooth, precise lever actuation with a solid feel.
Brake light compatible: includes hardware for attaching the OEM rear brake light pull switch. ABS-friendly design.
The Base Plates are made of high strength black-anodized billet aluminum and make use of the swingarm pivot bolt location in the frame for maximum rigidity.
The Shift linkage hardware included in the kit is designed for use on models with the Yamaha genuine quick-shifter, providing a dedicated reverse (GP-style) shifting pattern (For stock shift pattern, get Rear Sets part# Y-MT0917RS instead.
A small tube of threadlocker is included with the kit. (Threadlocker was already applied to any factory pre-tightened parts such as the brake pedal.)
Kit includes some basic instructions, but does not detail how to remove the stock controls or the swingarm pivot bolt hardware. (Consult a shop manual). We recommend installation be performed by a certified mechanic.
