Shift Spindle Holder - KTM 1190 RC8 / RC8R 2008-15
SATO RACING Shift Spindle Holder for 2008-2015 KTM 1190 RC8 / RC8R (part# KTM-RC8RS-SHDR) is a support bracket for the shift spindle, reinforcing it to reduce lateral play in the spindle shaft, for more consistent and precise shifting and extra durability in heavy-duty use. This specialized part was originally developed for endurance racing, where racing rear sets and non-standard shifter setups can put extra stress on the spindle. Support bracket and spacer collars are precision CNC-machined from high strength billet aluminum with a Silver (natural metal) anodized finish, with stainless steel bolts and and miniature stainless bearings.
NOTE: some of the above 'fit' photos show this part installed together with our RC8 Reverse Shift Plate (part# KTM-RC8RS-RSP). This part is not included in this kit, but is available separately.
IMPORTANT NOTE: This part is designed for installation with the stock KTM clutch slave cylinder. If installing with an aftermarket slave cylinder, we cannot guarantee compatibility.
