SATO RACING Engine Sliders (original design) for 2018-19 Ducati Panigale V4 / S * (Refurbished) (Part# D-V418ES-RFB) feature 'revolver'-style slider pucks made of tough, abrasion-resistant black DELRIN, for excellent protection of the engine clutch case, fairings and other exposed parts if you lay it down at speed on the track. Engine Sliders are mounted over the engine with high strength anodized billet aluminum brackets, with stainless steel and chrome molybdenum bolts. This is the last of our popular ‘original-style’ Engine Sliders for Panigale V4 / V4S. The story is, after the Panigale V4R came out in 2019, this slider model couldn’t be easily adapted to work on the R, so our engineers created an entirely new slider design just for the R model, and as a result, the standard V4 engine sliders also got a design update. So these original-style sliders were phased out in favor of the new design, even though it remained a strong seller. Originally $295 when new, this ‘refurbished’ model is now available for $215.
