Frame Sliders - Harley-Davidson Sportster XR1200 2009-12
SATO RACING Frame Sliders for 2009-12 Harley-Davidson Sportster XR1200/ X [part# HD-XR1209FS-BK] feature beefy slider pucks made of high density black DELRIN, a tough, abrasion-resistant material ideal for protecting the bike from damage if you lay it down at speed on the track. The sliders will help keep the radiator, headers and other exposed parts on the forward section of the bike from touching the pavement in a crash, with the slider pucks absorbing and dissipating any potential damage while helping the bike slide to a smooth, controlled stop. The slider pucks are mounted to the frame with a high strength black anodized billet aluminum bracket, and stainless steel bolts.
NOTE: Fits XR1200 only. Other Sportster models are either not compatible due to interference issues, or the sliders do not stick out quite far enough to provide much protection, since the handle bars or other parts would hit the ground first in a crash or fallover.
