SATO RACING Frame Sliders (Direct mount) for 2009-14 Yamaha YZF-R1 (part# Y-R1109RFS-BK) feature 'revolver'-style slider pucks made out of high density black DELRIN, an abrasion-resistant material with low friction properties ideal for protecting the bike from scrapes or more serious damage if you lay it down at speed on the track. The standoff these sliders provide will help keep the bodywork and other exposed parts from touching the pavement in a crash, with the sliders absorbing and dissipating any potential damage while helping the bike slide smoothly to a controlled stop. The sliders are mounted to the frame with high strength anodized billet aluminum spacer collars and chrome molybdenum bolts.

NOTE: FAIRING MODIFICATIONS ARE REQUIRED TO INSTALL THESE SLIDERS WITH THE STOCK FAIRINGS.

This model features revolver-style slider pucks that have a unique twist-on design that allows you to quickly remove or replace a slider puck without also having to remove the engine mount bolt.
