Details:
The Foot Pegs are fixed-type (non-folding) and have a finely knurled pattern for optimal grip, along with a comfortable, intuitive feel. Adjustable peg mount holes in the step plate let you select from 5 unique positions higher up and significantly further back in comparison to the stock foot rest position. See Position Chart above for the adjustability range.
The Pedal Tips (toe pegs) are made of tough, abrasion-resistant black DELRIN, and are also adjustable.
The shifter and brake pedal use dual miniature stainless bearings for smooth, precise lever actuation with a solid feel, and pivot on a separate axis from the foot pegs for optimal leverage.
Components are fastened together with Stainless Steel bolts and hardware.
Includes a mechanical type rear brake light switch.
The shift linkage features a black anodized shift arm and shift rod, providing a dedicated stock shift pattern. (Reverse shift pattern is not an option for this model).
Rear Sets kit comes partly pre-assembled, and includes some basic instructions, but does not detail how to remove the stock set. (Consult a shop manual). We recommend installation be performed by a certified mechanic.
A small tube of threadlocker is included with the kit. (Factory pre-tightened parts have already had threadlocker applied during assembly.)
Additional compatibility: This kit will also technically fit the R NineT Racer, but we recommend getting part# BMW-R9TRARS instead, since that has a position range better suited for the Racer. It should also fit the R NineT Urban G/S, but there is a chance there could be interference issues related to the longer kickstand on that model.
